Recently, the National Standards Commission issued the first batch of recommended national standard plans for 2020 (Guo Biao Wei Fa [2020] No. 14), with a total of 432 plans in this batch. There are two standard plans under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Shoe Standardization, namely "Test Methods for Footwear Outsoles - Needle Tear Strength" and "Test Methods for Footwear Outsoles - Tear Strength". These two standards are both revised standards and the project cycle is 18 months.

In order to further improve the preparation and revision of the two national standards mentioned above, the Secretariat of the National Technical Committee for Shoe Standardization will publicly solicit drafting units in accordance with relevant regulations, strengthen coordination with relevant units during the standard drafting process, widely solicit opinions, ensure the quality of the standards, and complete the standard preparation and revision tasks as required.
